Schäferhundverein RSV2000 – Competence in Performance and Breeding

Judging

In the past the characteristics of a dog when herding or working for the police used to be purposely applied for the benefit of men and also tested for these purposes, in order to preserve the these qualities, meanwhile many of these tasks have been lost. Parallel to this the sportive significance has grown which opened the possibility to, by the means of sportive activities, make use of the good characteristics, to adjudicate, to select and apply in breeding, in order to maintain the natural tendencies.

July 31, 2014 (Decisions taken at the Judge Meetings December 2013 and Juy 2014)

If a an exercise goes from dynanmics to statics, it is evaluated in techniques and coordination..

If an exercise goes from statics to dynamics it is evaluated in drive.

Definition of drive in obedience
The speed in executing passive exercises (sit, down, stand) are not marked down in drive but in techniques and coordination.
This is different from tracking where the dog needs to develop a balanced behavior in activities.

Vorzüglich / excellent
According to Robert Jönsson an exercise is excellent, even when minor parts need to be marked down.
